The Samsung Galaxy A14 4G smartphone’s key specifications have popped up on the internet, courtesy of new certifications.
Samsung is prepping to unveil a new entry-level A-series smartphone dubbed the Galaxy A14. Ahead of the launch, the Galaxy A14 has reportedly bagged FCC and TUV certifications.
These certifications reveal the Galaxy A14 smartphone’s specifications. The handset has model number SM-A145R/DSN. Also, there will be a 5G-ready Galaxy A14 as well.
The Galaxy A14 has already received the FCC certification, according to a report by 91mobiles. The unit spotted on the new FCC listing supports 4G LTE connectivity.
Moreover, the FCC listing confirms the Galaxy A14 supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The handset’s charging adapter has model number EP-T1510.
The listing also reveals that the charging adapter is manufactured by HAEM Co.LTD. Regrettably, the FCC listing does not include images of the Galaxy A14.
Samsung Galaxy A14 4G Appears On FCC, TUV Certification Websites
Furthermore, the FCC listing suggests the Galaxy A14 will measure 167.7×78.8×11.8 mm. The TUV certification, on the other hand, claims the Galaxy A14 4G will pack a 4,900 mAh battery with 15W charging support.
Samsung will probably list this cell with a 5,000mAh capacity. These platforms do not divulge any other key detail about the Galaxy A14.
Past leaks claim the Korean tech giant is likely to launch a 5G variant of the Galaxy A14. A microsite for the Galaxy A-series phone recently went live on the Samsung India website.
The 5G version has model number SM-A146B/DS. It will launch in a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and Exynos 1330 chipset-backed variants.
The handsets will boot Android 13 out of the box and ship with 6GB of RAM. It will probably carry a steeper price tag than the Galaxy A13, which retails for about $193.
