Following the launch of the 100 Thieves Foundations collection, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has been drawing flak over the price that surfaced on social media. The former pro Call of Duty player has finally responded to the criticism.
Merchandise has helped 100 Thieves pioneer several trends. Other teams have been following these trends since Nadeshot formed the esports organization. According to the org, their recently launched Foundations apparel line, which is available 24/7, has raised quite a few eyebrows due to the pricing of some options.

Clapping back at his critics, Nadeshot took to his Twitter account to defend the costs. The Foundations line was initially considered as one of 100 Thieves’ most popular yet. The org touted it as an everyday, more purchasable line of clothing. However, when people saw the price, they dropped comments on social media, claiming that cost of some items seemed outrageous, per Dexerto.
“Nadeshot and 100T should be ashamed,” one Twitterati wrote, citing the $135 hoodie that was listed on the site.

Nade responded to his fans by sharing details of where they source their products from, and how they use “the best designers, we work with the best manufacturers, and we use the best materials.”
That’s a $135 Anorak, not a hoodie. We are an apparel brand, not a merch company.
We hire the best designers, we work with the best manufacturers, and we use the best materials.

The commenter who called out the 100 Thieves boss seemed to accept the explanation and realized that the price of the Foundations line is justifiable. Do you think the price is likely to turn some fans off? Let us know in the comments section below.
