A recently surfaced victory scene from Call of Duty: Warzone’s new season refers to the Call of Duty 2021 game, and reveals some key details. This footage surfaced on the web on August 13.
This year’s installment in the fan-favorite franchise is currently in development at Sledgehammer Games. If previously surfaced reports are anything to go by, it will be dubbed, Call of Duty: Vanguard. Furthermore, this year’s entry could send players back to World War II. The game has been subject to multiple leaks over the past few weeks.

The new victory scene for season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War went live on Friday, per Polygon. The winning team is being extracted from the battlefield in the cutscene. A red-haired woman shoots the last player. This soldier is wearing a Soviet World War II uniform. She is equipped with an old-school wooden sniper rifle.
The soldier’s outfit and weapon coincide with the leaks that have been making the rounds online. In other words, the Call of Duty 2021 game will take place in WWII. Moreover, the character herself bears a striking resemblance to a person shown in one of the leaked images of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Also, this confirms that the victory scene alludes to the upcoming game.
Although the leaks did not shed light on a release date for Vanguard, they divulged a myriad of other key details. They included details about Vanguard’s Ultimate Edition and three bundles.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty publisher Activision Blizzard has been drawing flak over wide-ranging allegations. The publisher has been accused of maintaining a toxic workplace environment that is hostile to women.
Aside from that, Activision Blizzard reportedly pays women less and subjects them to sexual harassment. In July, a lawsuit filed by California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing claimed that the company doesn’t meaningfully punish perpetrators.
