Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro Edition renders have surfaced online, revealing some key details about the upcoming phone.
If a new report is anything to go by, Samsung is prepping to launch a Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro edition. The purported variant is expected to come in a new color option and adopt a new design.
To recap, the Korean brand has previously launched special editions of its folding phones, including the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Muzik Tiger edition and Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela Edition.

The images leaked by MsPowerUser suggest the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro Edition will have an off-blue color on the bottom half with a matte finish.

However, the top portion will have black color and the side frame will have grey color. Aside from this, the device will be available for purchase in Graphite, Mint, Cream, and Lavender color options. The rest of the phone is expected to be the same as the vanilla model.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro Edition: Specs
The Z Flip 5 Retro Edition will probably have a droplet-shaped Flex Hinge and a sleeker build. The device might come in an Armour Aluminium frame with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top.
Also, the phone will reportedly carry an IPX8 rating for water resistance. The main screen could be a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 2640×1080 pixels resolution.
The primary display may offer 1750 nits of brightness and HDR10+ support. Likewise, the cover display could be a 3.4-inch AMOLED panel with a 748×720 pixels resolution.
The Z Flip 5 Retro Edition is likely to pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and run Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 OS. The phone might ship with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offer 256GB/512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Moreover, it may come with a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging. For optics, it could get a 12MP main camera with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. Upfront, it could house a 12MP selfie camera.
