Here’s Why Pokimane Gets dragged Into Twitch Drama According To Valkyrae

On 12th January, streamer Pokimane got forced to shut off her Twitch stream. This happened after ‘hate raids’ by Jidion and another creator flooded her chat.

However, fortunately, Pokimane had other streamers coming to defend her. One of these was xQC.

Jidion revealed this has nothing to do with her gender. However, according to Valkyrae there was some other motive behind these ‘hate raids’. Rae thinks it was related to viewership somehow. She belives this is why Pokimane always get dragged in a Twitch drama.

Rae said, “The whole Poki thing that happened is so depressing.” She added, “I feel so bad for her. The blatant harassment and misogyny and how this dude just entirely benefits from it. I can’t stop thinking about how it works like that.”

Furthermore, she said, “There is no one that goes through as much drama as she does because of the position that she is in. Because she is the number one female streamer in the world, she goes through this stuff because people just use her for clout.”

In addition to this Rae mentioned that other streamers just use Poimane’s name to increase their viewership. They just want to make use of her name. As per Dexerto, Rae said, “People just use her for views, and blatantly. It’s crazy!  It just baffles my mind what people will do for clout and success.”

Expressing her shock and disbelief over what has happened Valkyrae said, “I just can’t believe the stuff that she’s been through for the past few years.”

Pokimane and Valkyrae lived together previously and even streamed together on several occasions. They have been best of friends.
