Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 rugged smartphone renders have popped up on the internet, ahead of its launch.
A rugged smartphone from Samsung is on the verge of going official if rumors making the rounds online are anything to go by. Ahead of the launch, the Galaxy XCover Pro 2 phone’s CAD (computer-aided design) renders have surfaced online.
Moreover, these leaked Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 renders gives us a glimpse of the outward appearance of the upcoming rugged phone. The handset will reportedly sport a 6.56-inch Infinity-V display.
Aside from this, the leaked renders show the handset’s rear panel with a dual-camera setup. The upcoming rugged phone will reportedly succeed the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro.

The upper left corner of the phone houses a dual rear camera unit. Furthermore, the left spine features volume rockers and a power button. Likewise, the speaker grilles and charging port are available at the handset’s bottom.
The word on the street is that the rugged phone will sport a 6.56-inch Infinity-V display. Furthermore, it is likely to run Android 12 out of the box.
Under the hood, the phone will reportedly pack an Exynos 1280 SoC. To recall, the Galaxy XCover Pro came with an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor.
Furthermore, it will be the first Xcover series device to support 5G connectivity. The side edge could provide real estate for the fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As per the report, the rugged phone’s dimensions are 169.5x 81.1x 10.1mm. Also, the rumored phone has already passed through the Geekbench benchmarking website with 6GB of RAM and an octa-core processor.
Samsung launched the XCover Pro back in January 2020 for EUR 499. For this price, you could get your hands on the sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model.
