Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra To Adopt The Rear Camera Design Of The Galaxy S22 Ultra

A new leak suggests the Galaxy S23 Ultra will come with a similar P-shaped rear camera setup as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has been floating around the rumor mill lately. The upcoming handset also continues to make appearances online in the form of official-looking leaks. Past leaks have revealed the possible specifications of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, but there’s always room for more speculations and leaks.

A new vital piece of information about the Galaxy S23 Ultra has predictably surfaced online. A reliable source has divulged key details of the smartphone’s rear design ahead of launch. Noted leaker Ice Universe has shared the details via a tweet. According to the renowned leaker, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will retain the rear camera module design of its predecessor, as per a BGR India report.

So, the Galaxy S23 Ultra could bear a striking resemblance to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, at least in the rear camera department. Further, Ice Universe says he thinks the current design is good. He thinks Samsung isn’t likely to oust the “simple and natural” design in favor of a new camera arrangement. If this speculation proves to be true, the next-gen flagship phone will sport the familiar P-shared camera module on the rear panel.

To recap, the Galaxy S22 Ultra garnered huge popularity among Samsung fans. The smartphone offered top-end specs, and features, coupled with an appealing design. As if that weren’t enough, the Galaxy S22 Ultra operated just like a Note series model. The reliable tipster has previously revealed some of the key specs of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Under the hood, the handset could pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

This octa-core chipset will be based on TSMC’s 4nm fabrication, according to Ice Universe. Moreover, the processor will include a highly competent Adreno 740 GPU to handle graphics. Notably, the Galaxy S23 Ultra could use the same battery as its predecessor to draw the juices. So, the upcoming S23 Ultra could use a 5,000mAh battery unit to power up the entire system. Regrettably, details about the fast charging support on the upcoming phone are still scarce.

However, the Galaxy S22 Ultra offers 45W fast charging support.  In the photography department, the Galaxy S23 Ultra could house a 200MP primary sensor on the back. Interestingly, the Galaxy S22 Ultra features a 108MP main camera. The word on the street is that the 200MP camera will support 8K videos recording at up to 30fps. More details about the Galaxy S23 Ultra could pop up on the internet in the coming days.
