The US variant of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website.
To recap, the standard Galaxy S23 model passed through the online benchmark not long ago. Interestingly, both the base, as well as the Ultra model appear to pack the same chipset.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra US version carries model number SM-S918U as per the Geekbench listing. The device seems to have similar characteristics to the SM-S911U variant.
For instance, the SM-S918U has 8GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The processor comprises a high-performance CPU core that clocks at 3.36GHz.

Moreover, the CPU has three CPU cores clocking at 2.02GHz and four 2.8GHz cores. As expected, the Galaxy S23 Ultra boots Android 13 OS.
However, details about the version of One UI are still scarce. Yet, a report by SamMobile suggests the Galaxy S23 Ultra might come with One UI 5.1 since Samsung has started teasing its imminent release.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra gained extremely positive results. However, these results are not usually an indication of how the device could perform in the real world.

Notably, the Galaxy S23 Ultra scored 1,521 points in the single-core tests and 4,689 points in the multi-core tests. If the information from online benchmarks is anything to go by, the Galaxy S23 Ultra could turn out to be a beast of a phone.
Samsung is reportedly planning to host its Unpacked 2023 event either in January or February. The South Korean tech giant could unveil the Galaxy S23 series at the impending event.
