‘OWL’: Shanghai Dragons Add BeBe To Fill Molly’s Place

Shanghai Dragons have added Hui-chang “BeBe” Hoon to fill the position of He “Molly” Chengzhi, who recently left for the Guangzhou Charge.

The 2021 Overwatch League Champions have further bolstered their roster although it is already stacked.

Last year, Hui-chang “BeBe” Hoon played a vital role of a backline heavy lifter in the professional Overwatch esports team Washington Justice. Now, with He “Molly” Chengzhi set to leave for the Guangzhou Charge, BeBe will be filling up his place.

He will be challenging Minchul “Izayaki” Kim for the Flex Support spot. To recall, JjoNak is no longer in the league. So, Izayaki is likely to arrive in the season as the league’s best Flex Support.

However, this competition will not take place, provided the Dragons go for a double Flex Support lineup. BeBe has had three exhausting seasons and has earned the spotlight.

According to a report by ESTNN, the best place for him to get the spotlight is the Shanghai Dragons.

Support Line Of The Shanghai Dragons

Since the Shanghai Dragons is an Eastern Division team, BeBe will be facing competitions that he has never faced before. Moreover, he has competed infrequently against a few teams in stage tournaments.

Furthermore, he isn’t well acquainted with the Eastern Division’s playstyle. It is currently unclear whether Dragons will use a more Support duo, or resort to using a double Flex Support duo, considering that it has one Main Support and two Flex Supports on the team.

Moreover, it appears that some rosters are being built around high damage considering that Overwatch 2 will be 5v5.

Also, it remains to be seen whether or not Izayaki and BeBe will appear together. Main Support Jae-Gon “LeeJaeGon” Lee will be a vital player, but his role will be more important than that.

Aside from that, it will be interesting to see how all three players will be rotated in. However, given that BeBe doesn’t have any major skills above Izayaki’s level, this seems highly unlikely.

Shanghai is more powerful and boasts an impressive array of popular names that will be drawing more fans. Watch this space for the latest Esports news.
