It could be the last time Dr Disrespect dropped back into ‘Apex Legends’

Dr Disrespect slammed Apex Legends in his first game back. The Two-Time had uninstalled the game and claimed that he would never return.

Doc began “reading emails” instead, in a bid to “stay awake” during his first session back. Dr Disrespect didn’t have a great time with publisher Electronic Arts’ free-to-play hero battle royale game since its release.

He was so disappointed with the game that he uninstalled it several times and even promised to never jump back in again. After over a year off the game, the Two-Time actually described Respawn’s flagship as a “good game. He even admitted that he liked it, per Dexerto.

Regrettably, this change was short-lived. Merely about three hours into his first session back on June 30, Doc was ready to quit playing the title again. “Do you see how soft and skinny this f***ing game is?” he yelled after bombing out of a lobby in 12th place.

“It’s just shooting shields. There’s a reason why I don’t play it. It’s boring. I don’t know what else to say.”

Considering a viewer’s advice, he then decided to drop into a ranked game next. Even the competitive side of Apex Legends failed to keep the Doc engaged. “I’m falling asleep playing the game,” he said after leaving his final lobby of the day.

This time around, Doc criticized the state of shields and drawn-out gunfights. For his money, “everything feels tedious.”

“I am struggling to stay interested,” he added. “I’m reading emails on my third monitor over here while I’m playing the game. I have no interest, I’m bored. I want to uninstall it right now, and I don’t want to play the game ever again.”

In other words, Apex Legends couldn’t match his thirst for high-octane gameplay. “I try to commit, we did a couple of hours today… We tried. That’s all I can do.”

Given his experience this time, do you think it could be the last time the Two-Time dropped into Apex Legends? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
