Call of Duty legends like Clayster, Crimsix, and Nadeshot hit back at Dr Disrespect and TSM Myth’s mockery on controller players.
Competitive crossplay shooting games like Fortnite and Warzone can be played using either a controller or mouse and keyboard.
Doc had said that aim-assist in first-person shooter games like Warzone and Apex Legends is ruining gameplay.
According to Sportskeeda, earlier, mouse and keyboard players had an advantage over players using a controller. However, years later, the controller aim-assist was improved.
Thus, Dr Disrespect and other streamers, felt that this improvement would strengthen the controller players’ game.
The Two-Time had said that as crossplay became the norm for FPS games, the aim assist turned out to be a huge issue. He added that developers are needed who will prioritize a balance between the two inputs.
On September 21, the Two-Time tweeted that controller players are nothing without aim assist.
TSM Myth also wrote on Twitter that he would never put a controller player in his top 10 list for greatest FPS players of all time.
Oh boy. @TSM_Myth and @drdisrespect took shots at controller players, so the CoD goats assembled ? pic.twitter.com/p6HQD9D51h

Clayster questioned that why is everyone upset at some dude’s opinion when that dude’s only claim to videogame fame is he figured out building first on Fortnite?
Nadeshot said, “Karma and Scump taking your favorite player’s lunch money on controller and kb+m.”
CoD player Attach commented that the controller takes more skill than mouse and keyboard.
While gamers were taking a side and expressing their opinion, streamers like Scump voiced a balanced view on the controller v/s mouse and keyboard debate. He said that both the controller and mouse and keyboard require skills.
CoD player Dashy said that Controller or Mouse and Keyboard don’t matter. Call of Duty: Vanguard is scheduled to release on 5 November 2021.
