The OnePlus Nord Buds pocket-friendly TWS earbuds went official earlier this year, and now the Buds Pro 2 could be in the offing. Despite carrying an affordable price tag, the TWS earbuds boast sufficiently good features.
Now, it looks like OnePlus is cashing in on the success of the Nord Buds by launching its successor dubbed OnePlus Buds Pro 2. The upcoming true wireless earbuds will reportedly arrive in the global markets soon.
However, the Chinese consumer electronics giant is still mum on its plan to launch Nord Buds Pro 2. To recap, the original Buds Pro broke cover in July 2021. So, it is an ideal time for the arrival of its successor.
Regrettably, OnePlus is keeping details about the upcoming earbuds under wraps. Meanwhile, a new report by Pricebaba has divulged the specifications of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 earbuds.
The upcoming premium TWS will not ditch the semi-in-ear design of its predecessor. Also, it will come with a stem that supports gesture control. The Buds Pro 2 will reportedly come with 11mm and 6mm dual audio drivers.
Furthermore, they will support ANC up to 45dB, as well as adaptive noise cancellation. The upcoming TWS earbuds will feature three mics for improved voice clarity during calls.
Aside from this, they will offer LDHC 4.0 spatial audio support. The Buds Pro 2 is tipped to deliver up to six hours of battery life with ANC. The audio device will last up to 22 hours with the charging case.
Alternatively, you can get nine hours of battery life without ANC. This can be further extended up to 38 hours with the case. The earbuds will support wireless, as well as USB Type-C wired charging.
With a 10 minutes charge, you can get up to 10 hours of juice with the fast charging tech. Other notable features include an IP55 rating for sweat and water resistance and Google Fast Pair.
For connectivity, the Buds Pro 2 features Bluetooth 5.2 and supports 69ms low latency. Moreover, it will be available in silver, black, and green color options.
