Alleged OnePlus 10 Ultra patent images have probably given us our first look at the upcoming smartphone from the Chinese company.
The OnePlus 10 Pro isn’t garnering as much popularity as the rest of the OnePlus flagships have in the past. The handset is touted as an upgraded version of last year’s OnePlus 9 Pro.
The 10 Pro sports a negligible change on the rear panel, and packs the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip under the hood. Moreover, it supports a slightly faster 80W fast charging speed.
OnePlus 10 Ultra Patent Images Surface Online
Tipster Techinsider recently found alleged OnePlus 10 Ultra patent images. If details revealed in these images are anything to go by, the rear panel will house a periscope lens, along with what looks like a tiny display.
However, it is unclear whether OnePlus will be launching a commercial smartphone with the design seen in the patent images. However, if it comes to fruition, 91mobiles suggests it will launch with the OnePlus 10 Ultra moniker.

Past Leaks & Speculations
Rumors making the rounds online suggest that the OnePlus 10 Ultra will launch in the Q2 of 2022 with upgraded camera hardware.
To recall, a disassembly video revealed the OnePlus 10 Pro’s mammoth camera module earlier this month.
It appears that OnePlus is bent on returning to the roots by offering affordable flagships. This could be a move to regain its user base.
Renowned leaker Digital Chat Station claims that OnePlus is hard at works on a wide range of affordable OnePlus smartphones that deliver high performance, and superior gaming experience.
The word on the street is that the phones in this lineup will cost between $315 to $475. On the downside, they are likely to cost more in the global and Indian markets and will be less powerful than other flagship offerings.
In other words, these devices could be premium mid-range offerings. Furthermore, DCS claims the series will come with the basics of flagship chipsets and sport flat display panels.
Regrettably, details about the processor are still scarce. Also, the phones are highly unlikely to offer wireless charging support or carry an IP rating to reduce the price.
