Rachell “Rae” Hofstetter (aka Valkyrae) has explained why Ludwig was banned on YouTube shortly after he joined the platform.
Valkyrae recently weighed in on Ludwig’s YouTube ban. The 100 Thieves co-owner claimed that he would have received a ban on Twitch for the same thing.
Not too long ago, Ludwig Ahgren signed exclusively with YouTube. However, just days after joining the platform, he was banned from the Google-owned platform. The 26-year-old streamer was flagged with a DMCA claim, according to a report from Dexerto.
Valkyrae Reacts To YouTube Banning Ludwig
During the December 2 live stream, Valkyrae reacted to Ludwig’s suspension, explaining to her audience why it happened. “First of all, he’s not banned,” she said. “His stream was taken down, probably for copyright issues.”
Breaking down the situation, Hofstetter suggests that Ahgren would have received a ban on Twitch for the same thing. “I’m sure this would have happened equally on Twitch,” she continued.
“It was a good two days,” she said while replying to Ludwig’s tweet about the ban. “Goodbye Ludwig, goodbye,” she jokingly added.
Streamers React To Ludwig’s Temporary YouTube Ban
Aside from Rae, several other streamers reacted to Ludwig’s YouTube ban. Twitch star Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker teased Ludwig by making fun of his announcement video.
He went on to play the clip of Ludwig revealing that he will not get into trouble for playing music on his YouTube streams anymore. “Ohhh, that makes his suspension so much funnier, dude. NOT in this car!” he laughed. “What happened?! Guess what!”

Ludwig has confirmed that his channel was flagged with a DMCA strike because he played a few seconds of the viral kid’s song ‘Baby Shark’ during his December live stream.
Ahgren’s channel was still suspended from going live at the time of writing. However, he can upload content. What do you think about Ludwig’s YouTube ban? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
