During his stream, xQc joked that he played a vital role in the skyrocketing popularity of Corpse Husband. According to the Canadian Pro gamer, playing Among Us with him in 2020 helped the enigmatic streamer gain fame.
Following his breakout year in 2020, Corpse amassed millions of followers. However, fame came with immense pressure.
Notably, xQc is known for his enthusiastic antics during streams. However, he broke from tradition recently by spending a lot of his time on stream watching a Patrick CC video essay dubbed The Curious Case of Corpse.
The video sheds light on the sudden rise in searches surrounding Corpse Husband, and that’s when xQc says he made a difference. “He played in my [Among Us] lobby, where I literally made him,” he claimed.
