Valkyrae is tearing a strip off fans for their “creepy” shipping of her and male friends because it makes her uncomfortable.
Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter is one of the world’s most successful streamers. Moreover, she is known for creating content for Nadeshot’s 100 Thieves esports organization.
As if that weren’t enough, she has been the most-watched female streamer on YouTube for several years for several consecutive years.
In her May 7 broadcast, Rae grabbed some mukbang with friends. However, the comments section was soon bombarded with spectators expressing their views about Rae’s interactions with her male colleagues.
Soon after the stream ended, Valkyrae called out the comments that were making her and her feel “uncomfortable.”

She took to her Twitter on Sunday, May 8, urging her audience to stop shipping her with friends. “It’s really uncomfortable & creepy,” she added.
“Literally EVERY guy friend I interact with comes with some random anonymous accounts making not only the worst/wildest assumptions but they get mad when I’m not interacting with their “favorite”. Insanity.”

It doesn’t take too long for the accusations to spark false rumors. Aside from this, it soon turns toxic if she acts in a way that doesn’t align with viewer assumptions, as per a report by Dexerto.
This isn’t the first time the YouTube star had to request her fans to stop shipping her with a male member of the gaming community.
To recall, she criticized her audience for inappropriately shipping her with Minecraft creator Dream, deeming it “terrible”.
Notably, male streamers have also been subject to similar controversies. For instance, Ninja announced he would not stream with other female streamers out of respect for his wife.
