Valkyrae & Sykkuno Admit They Are Confused About Corpse Husband New Song

Corpse Husband released his new track titled “Poltergeist” on April 8, but Valkyrae and Sykkuno struggled to understand the lyrics.

The latest track from Corpse Husband, “Poltergeist” continues to receive ample praises from his friends and fans alike. However, Valkyrae and Sykkuno are a little confused by the lyrics of the hit song.

After making his voice acting foray into Funimation’s Tribe Nine anime, Corpse took the music realm by storm earlier this month. The new track features the trademark deep vocals of the faceless influencer with a trap-style beat playing in the background.

Noted streamers including Sykkuno and Karl Jacobs have promoted the single to their own fans. However, Sykkuno is slightly confused about the song’s lyrics.

Sykkuno Struggling To Understand What A “Bando” Is In The New Song

During a stream featuring Corpse, Valkyrae, and Miyoung, Sykkuno revealed that he doesn’t know what a “bando” was. “The part with the ‘bando’ was really good, but I don’t know what a ‘bando’ is,” he said, leaving Corpse laughing.

“But that part was really good,” he adds. “Yeah, I agree,” Corpse responded.

“The what?” Valkyrae asked before going to listen to the song herself. “What is that?” “There’s one part where he sings about it,” Sykkuno continued.

“I don’t know what any of it means, but it’s really good. He’s going in. I don’t know what he’s talking about, but you can tell he’s going in.”

Here’s the part of the song Sykkuno is referring to:

“You’ve never seen a trap or a bando / Only time you pull the strap is when you’re wearin’ velcro”

For those who are unaware, “bando” refers to an abandoned house, as per a report by Dexerto. Moreover, this is the same as a “trap,” or trap house. Notably, these places are normally used as a venue for illicit activities.

Sykkuno’s confusion about the slang term drew a laugh from the group of streamers. Nevertheless, Corpse could be gearing up to release many more songs in the coming days, as per a now-deleted tweet from the musician.
