Valkyrae Reveals She Became Friends With Sykkuno When He Had About 200 Viewers

Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has revealed how she met and became friends with Sykkuno before he rose to popularity.

Sykkuno has garnered skyrocketing popularity over the last few years. Moreover, he has amassed more than four million dedicated followers on Twitch.

His community started celebrating the streamer every year on May 1, marking it the ‘National Sykkuno Day.’ Notably, he is one of the fan-favorite members of the ‘Amigops.’

You’d normally find Sykkuno playing games or hanging out with other popular creators like Corpse Husband, Disguised Toast, and Valkyrae, as per Dexerto. Regrettably, details about how he met Corpse and Disguised Toast are still scarce.

Valkyrae Reveals How She Met Sykkuno

However, Valkyrae recently divulged some vital information about how she met Sykkuno before he became famous. During her May 1 stream, Rae explained that they had a nostalgic moment during Sykkuno’s stream when the friend group joined a Minecraft server together.

“I was sobbing the whole time. That’s how Sykkuno and I met. We met on the OfflineTV Minecraft server three years ago,” she explained.

“He was a wee lad.” she explains.

She adds that “he was uWukuno.” Rae says “he was so timid, shy, and had no webcam. He only had about 200 viewers.”

Furthermore, she even described their first meeting inside of the OTV server. “He had shot me instead of a skeleton and I just couldn’t get over his voice. I thought his voice was incredible and our friendship just blossomed from there.”

On May 1, fans of Sykkuno took to Twitter to share positive messages for their favorite creator. Now, Sykkuno has announced that he is leaving Twitch in favor of YouTube Gaming.
