Shroud Reveals Why He Thinks New World’s PvE Gameplay Is Better Than PvP

Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek has revealed that he plans to energetically and productively engage in New World’s PvE experience rather than PvP. However, the Canadian YouTuber admitted that he still likes the controversy-plagued scaling system.

Amazon Game Studios’ New World continues to garner huge popularity among gamers. The American video game developer has struck gold with the closed beta. Its skyrocketing popularity can be partially attributed to World of Warcraft players who are migrating in unison following Blizzard’s lawsuit.

While Asmongold and some other streamers do not think it is perfect, Shroud and many others have continued to praise New World’s endgame content. Despite having a few concerns regarding how the PvP system works, Shroud is optimistic about it. He still wants to focus more on New World’s PvE content instead.

“When this game comes out, I don’t know how much I’m actually going to PvP,” he said. “I like the PvE aspect more, which is really weird. I’ll, of course, play in Wars and stuff. But I don’t really care for the world PvP.”

“I like the scaling system,” Shroud declared. “Maybe it might need some tweaks here and there, but I really like it. I like the fact that a level 20 can kill a level 60.”

He simply wants to enjoy the PvE experience. This is quite understandable considering that’s partly what makes New World and other MMORPGs so appealing. Players can decide what they want to get out of it. While some of his fans will be disappointed with his decision, he is not likely to abstain from PvP. He did say he wanted to give New World’s Wars a go.

Moreover, there is always a possibility that he might like world PvP more than he thinks. We will have to wait and see once the game hits the store shelves on August 31.
