John Wick: Chapter 4 first teaser trailer has been released. It shows Keanu Reeves returning as master assassin John Wick.

Chad Stahelski released the first trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. The trailer made its debut during Collider’s Director’s on Directing panel at the comic book convention. 

Notably, John Wick fans have been waiting for the next outing of Keanu Reeves as The Baba Yaga with bated breath. To recap, John Wick: Chapter 3 was released back in 2019.

Mr. Wick will soon go toe-to-toe with the council of crime lords dubbed The High Table. John Wick will be teaming up with The Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) to lock horns with The High Table.

However, Mr. Wick’s chances of survival are growing slimmer every day, given that every killer in the world is looking for him. 

Aside from Reeves, Scott Adkins and Donnie Yen will be gracing the upcoming action-packed film. Other notable cast members include Shamier Anderson, Rina Sawayama, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Clancy Brown.

Also, Ian McShane will make an appearance as the owner of The New York Continental. Likewise, Lance Reddick will be starring in the film as a concierge.

Shay Hatten and Michael Finch have written John Wick: Chapter 4. The duo is replacing screenwriter Derek Kolstad, who created the John Wick franchise.

Director Chad Stahelski told Collider in May that “we introduce a ton of new characters that have a lot to say about John Wick from his past and from, obviously, present. I think it’s brotherhood, it’s hope.”

“It’s what the life would really be like as a bit of an existential crisis with John, and I think that’s the fun part of the movie” added Stahelski.
