Popular streamers, Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman have expressed their views on the delay in Battlefield 2042’s Release.
Battlefield 2042 is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts (EA).
Previously, the game was expected to release on October 22, 2021. However, EA delays the launch of the game to November 19, 2021.
EA ensured that early access, for those who qualify for it, will begin on November 12. This will be done so that the servers aren’t overloaded on November 19. This will give fans an early start on the rest of the pack.
The publishers of Battlefield had an opportunity to release the game before Call of Duty: Vanguard, which is scheduled to release on November 5, 2021.
Dr Disrespect And TimTheTatman Discuss Delay of Battlefield 2042’s Release
Now, Activision, publisher of CoD: Vanguard, has an advantage. Thus, streamers Doc and Tim decided to voice their views on the delay of Battlefield 2042.
The Two-Time was displeased with the delay. Tim said that the delay will give Activision an advantage. According to Tim, the delay is a huge “W” for Call of Duty.
However, Doc had a different view on the delay. The Two-Time said that the delay puts a little pressure on Call of Duty.
According to Dr Disrespect, Call of Duty has to meet a certain level of expectation. If the game fails to do so then it’s going to become boring quickly. If the game becomes boring, it will help Battlefield. CoD has to live up to the community’s expectations, otherwise, players will switch to Battlefield.
Earlier, Doc has expressed disdain for the gameplay graphics of Battlefield 2042. He said that he saw better graphics on his old Xbox 360.
Battlefield 2042 is scheduled to release on November 19, 2021, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
