According to Steven ‘Destiny’ Bonnell II, FaZe Clan was aware of its member’s cryptocurrency “pump and dump” activities. The Twitch star claims that there is “no way” they carried out their crypto deals without the organization knowing about it.
As part of their cryptocurrency pump and dump scheme, FaZe Clan members Teeqo, Nikan, Jarvis, and Kay promoted a controversy plagued altcoin. They subsequently dumped their investments shortly after, per Dexerto.
After netizens discovered their strategy, they called them out for their shady crypto deals. In a statement, FaZe Clan claimed that they had “absolutely no involvement” in the activities. Faze Clan suspended the members. However, the org removed Kay. Banks did not involve in the drama, either.

However, Destiny claimed that he “knows for a fact” they knew about it all along and urged them to “sue him” if they don’t like it.

“All of FaZe knew about [the cryptocurrency pump and dump] the entire time. If you don’t like it, sue me,” he said.
“I know for a fact every motherf**ker in this team knows exactly what’s happening, so it’s funny for them to kick people out and [claim they] had no idea.”
“I guarantee you that they’re selling these deals to their teams and telling them, ‘It’s cool, all you need to do is buy and sell immediately after. It’s all good, dude. You’ll make a ton of money.’”
“There’s no way they’re just passing these deals on [and telling them to] figure it out.”

Fans had a mixed reaction to Destiny’s comments, with some suggesting that Faze Clan should sue him over the claims. However, others commended him for making the bold claim. The organization hasn’t responded to these allegations.
