‘Call of Duty Warzone Mobile’ Likely To Launch In 2022

Much to the delight of CoD fans, the Call of Duty Warzone Mobile launch is reportedly right around the corner.

Activision unveiled the Caldera map for Call of Duty: Warzone not too long ago. The recently introduced map will be rolling out alongside season 1 of Warzone and Vanguard.

Some reliable leakers have divulged key details about the game’s mobile port. Citing the huge player base for battle royale on a mobile platform, it is quite understandable that Activision is gearing up to bring Call of Duty Warzone to Android and iOS devices.

The video game publisher has neither confirmed nor denied this speculation. However, it is safe to assume that the game will be heading to mobile phones in the future.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile Launch Details

Taking to his Twitter account on Dec. 7, noted leaker Tom Henderson claimed that Activision could be announcing Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile next year. Furthermore, Henderson revealed that the game has appeared on the PlaytestCloud database.

Another reliable tipster, Just4leaks2 discovered a job listing for the title of Executive Producer, Features for a project codenamed WZM. The job description suggests that the candidate will be working on the player experience of a new AAA mobile first-person shooter.

The codename WZM and the description for the job title suggest that Warzone Mobile could be in the development stage. To recall, Activision recently acquired The Respawnables developed Digital Legends to develop a new Call of Duty Mobile title. A report by 91mobiles suggests that it could be Warzone mobile.

What Else To Expect?

Considering that Activision already has Call of Duty: Mobile, it will be interesting to see how the company introduces Warzone. For those who are unaware, CoD: Mobile has a battle royale mode.

Furthermore, there is a possibility that Warzone will turn out to be one of the few games to only implement first-person perspective in a battle royale. However, Warzone fans should take these speculations with a grain of salt and wait for an official confirmation from Activision.
