Since its debut, Samsung’s 200MP camera sensor has garnered significant popularity among smartphone manufacturers. In line with this, the Honor 80 series will be the next smartphone to house the mammoth camera sensor.
Notably, the Honor 80 Pro+ has the ISOCELL HP1 200MP camera sensor. Aside from this, a report by SamMobile suggests Honor’s next flagship smartphone will feature a 50MP ultrawide sensor.

Furthermore, the report claims the Honor 80 Pro+ will probably house a dedicated telephoto camera with OIS. It could sport a 1.5K AMOLED display which has curved sides.
Under the hood, the handset will reportedly pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Also, it is likely to ship with a whopping 12GB of RAM.
Other notable features might include 100W super-fast charging, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint reader. To recap, Motorola was the first company to use Samsung’s ISOCELL HP1 200MP camera on its smartphone dubbed X30 Pro.
The handset made its debut in the international markets as the Moto Edge 30 Ultra. The Xiaomi 12T Pro also comes with Samsung’s 200MP camera sensor.
Likewise, Infinix brought the 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor on its recently unveiled flagship phone, The Korean smartphone company is reportedly prepping to release similar ultra-high-resolution smartphone camera sensors in the future.
In fact, some reports suggest Samsung is working on a 600MP camera sensor that can surpass the human eye’s capabilities. However, that sensor might appear in connected and autonomous vehicles rather than in smartphones.
