Moto Razr (2022) Tipped To Cost More Than Galaxy Z Flip 4 In Europe

The Moto Razr (2022) is headed to the European market soon carrying a steeper price tag than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Motorola is on the verge of bringing its new flip phone dubbed Moto Razr (2022) to the European market. The recently unveiled Moto Razr had a chance to lock horns with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 4 by offering a competitive price.

However, it looks like the Lenovo-owned company has botched its only chance to compete with the Galaxy Z Flip 4. The Razr (2022) will reportedly cost more than €1,200 in Europe.

In other words, the Razr (2022) will be more expensive than the Galaxy Z Flip 4. For those unaware, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable phone’s starting price is €1,099.

Moreover, the Moto Razr (2022) doesn’t bear any resemblance to the first foldable Razr model that was launched in 2019. Also, it looks nothing like the original Razr V3 feature flip phone.

Moto Razr (2022) Vs. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4

In the photography department, the Moto Razr (2022) outperforms the Galaxy Z Flip 4 since it houses higher-resolution cameras. On the downside, it lacks an armor aluminum frame or Ultra-Thin Glass, as well as water resistance.

Furthermore, the Razr (2022) doesn’t come with Flex Mode software features that take full advantage of the flip form factor. Also, the handset runs MYUI 4.0 rather than One UI 4.1.1.

So, a SamMobile report suggests the Razr (2022) isn’t as durable as the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Overall, the Razr (2022) doesn’t boast specs or features that justify its high price.

So, it looks like Samsung isn’t likely to face a worthy competitor in the foldable phone market anytime soon.
