Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has come under fire from netizens after announcing that she would be playing Fortnite with SSSniperWolf.
Rae has been catching flak lately for revealing that she played Fortnite with the controversial content creator, SSSniperwolf. Back in December 2021, SSSniperWolf received backlash for allegedly ghosting a terminally ill fan. She didn’t call her after saying that she would.
On December 28, she tweeted that she had contacted the young supporter. However, she was criticized for not initially keeping her word. Taking to her Twitter account on April 5, 2022, Valkyrae announced that she’d played Fortnite off-stream with Pokimane and SSSniperwolf.
Her fans took to the comments section of the tweet to ask Rae why would she ever associate herself with SSSniperwolf. Responding to a tweet (now deleted) from a supporter named @Staddish_, Rae responded:
What? I wasn’t aware of her history and I’m very much so uninformed about everybody’s past. I’m deleting just because I don’t want controversial comments. Please don’t try to twist this in any way.

Valkyrae Receives Backlash For Playing Fortnite With SSSniperwolf
Valkyrae admitted that knowing everything about everybody is unrealistic. Nevertheless, the YouTuber explained that she “welcomes being informed.” In another tweet, she further clarified, saying:
“I’m pretty unaware and uneducated about many things in life like most people, but I welcome being informed!! So plz don’t attack others for it And if you’re trying to educate others, please do it in a kind way”.

The backlash seems to have come to a close citing Valkyrae’s request, as per Dexerto. However, SSSniperwolf is still mum on the whole ordeal. It is unclear if this budding acquaintanceship will go any further from here after this backlash.
