Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Charging Speeds Tipped Before Launch

Key details about the Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones’ charging speeds have surfaced on the web before launch.

The hotly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S22 flagship series smartphones will go official on February 9. However, the rumor mill is still churning out speculations surrounding the upcoming flagship lineup.

In a new development, details about the Samsung Galaxy S22 series’ faster-charging speeds have been tipped. To recall, the South Korean tech giant is already touting the upcoming lineup at “the most noteworthy S series phone” yet.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Charging Speeds

The much-awaited Galaxy S22 series will bring notable improvements in multiple aspects. For instance, the Galaxy S22 series smartphones are likely to pack Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4nm processor under the hood.

Aside from that, the S22 lineup will offer major upgrades over its predecessor even in the battery charging speed. The Samsung Galaxy S22 series listing on the DEMKO certification website suggests that the upcoming smartphones will offer faster-charging speeds.

Model numbers SM-S901E, SM-S901E/DS, and SM-S9010 have been linked to the Samsung Galaxy S22 variant. Furthermore, they are said to offer 25W fast charging support. This is similar to the Galaxy S21 lineup.

The higher-end Galaxy S22+ (-S906E, SM-S906E/DS, and SM-S9060 model numbers) will support a faster 45W charging speed. Lastly, the top-notch Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-908E, SM-S908E/DS, and SM-S9080 model numbers) will also deliver the same 45W fast charging speed.

With the faster-charging speeds, the devices will take less time for charging up.. Moreover, they will be drawing juices from robust batteries.

For instance, the Galaxy S22 will come with a 3,700mAh battery, and the Galaxy S22+ will have a 4,500mAh battery. Aside from that, a 5,000mAh battery will be powering up the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Specifications (Expected)

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 series will come with top-notch hardware. Based on the region of their launch, the phones will feature either the new Exynos 2200 SoC or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra will sport an AMOLED display with 6.1-inch FHD+, 6.6-inch QHD+, and 6.8-inch QHD+ sizes and resolutions, respectively according to a report by 91mobiles.
