Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones prices for the US have been tipped ahead of launch, and they are costlier than expected.
According to a new report, the Galaxy S22 series will retail for the same price as the 2021 models in Europe. However, the US buyers will need to shell out an additional $100, if a new leak is anything to go by.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Prices Tipped
This vital piece of information comes from @TechInsider and @chunvn8888. Moreover, a survey shared on Reddit further corroborates this speculation.
A table comparing the Galaxy S21 generation with the imminent Galaxy S22 models (seen below) has been shared by GSM Arena.
It is worth mentioning here that, unlike last year’s Ultra model, the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra will start with 8GB RAM. The 22021 model shipped with 12GB of RAM.
However, that may not be the case for the US model, considering that it will carry a steeper price tag. Aside from that, the Galaxy S22 and the S22+ could have the same memory configurations.
Furthermore, the South Korean tech company could offer some unmissable trade-in deals and pre-order goodies. This will be an attempt to make up for the extra $100 of all three models.
To recall, Samsung offered up to $200 credit and a free Galaxy SmartTag in the US for the S21 series. Likewise, the company offered Galaxy Buds Live and SmartTag with the lineup in Europe.
Regrettably, the survey (seen above) does not shed light on pre-order goodies.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022
The word on the street is that the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is set for February 9. The event will also witness the launch of the new Galaxy Tab S8 series of tablets. The tablet will reportedly sell for under $850 in the US.
Also, the Tab S8+ is reportedly priced between $900-$1,000. The flagship Tab S8 Ultra will carry a price tag of $1,100 or higher.
