‘Overwatch’ Player Spots Tracer & Sombra Doppelgängers In Netflix’s ‘Robozuna’

An Overwatch player has spotted characters in Netflix’s Robozuna series that bear striking resemblance to Tracer and Sombra.

Overwatch boasts a considerably diverse array of 32 heroes. The game’s diversified cast range from all type of different archetypes and backgrounds.

This diversity usually triggers comparisons between the game’s heroes and characters from other shows and games. To recall, Valorant’s Omen was compared to Reaper. Netflix’s animated series, Robozuna is one such show.

Tracer & Sombra Lookalikes Spotted In Netflix’s Robozuna

Now, Overwatch players have spotted similarities between two characters in the show and a couple of Overwatch heroes. For those who are unaware, Robozuna is an animated show that’s on its second season. The show first aired on Netflix back in 2018.

The show revolves around a young protagonist who teams up with a few robots to lock horns with an evil force. When you look a bit closer at one of the show’s antagonists, Overwatch’s Sombra is likely to come to your mind.

The aforesaid character’s name in the show is Danuvia, per Dexerto. This character sports purple hair, coupled with some cybernetic aspects that make her look like Overwatch’s hacker.

The Sombra lookalike makes an appearance in the show\s trailer at the 0.41-second mark if you want to take a closer look at the similarities. Aside from that, one of the show’s protagonists bears some striking similarities to Tracer, but less, compared to the Sombra lookalike.

This was originally pointed out by players in the Overwatch subreddit, who dubbed the characters, “Knock off tracer and sombra.”

Despite the similarities, there are some differences that separate them from the Overwatch heroes. However, fans are likely to continue comparing and poking jokes at the absence of an Overwatch TV show.

“So here’s the Overwatch Netflix adaptation?” the top comment on the Reddit thread joked. Fans have restlessly been waiting for an Overwatch TV show for quite some time now.
