CoD Insider claims that the Developers of CoD 2021 and Warzone have been developing an anti-cheat system after receiving complaints from their player base.
Hackers and cheat makers have consistently exploited Call of Duty. This has caused the state of both main series titles Black Ops Cold War, and its Warzone battle royale to exacerbate.
For all the individuals involved, it has been a constant battle. However, there could be a silver lining which would ultimately abolish the franchise’s problems soon.
Content creator ZLaner requested Ravensoft to take action against combat cheating. He tweeted that he can’t aim to be the best he can be in Warzone without receiving insane amounts of skepticism. He added that hacking has plagued the game since the beginning.

Tom Henderson, a Call of Duty insider, has tweeted that a new anti-cheat system for the next Call of Duty title has been in development for over a year. He further added that the same system will be implemented into Warzone. However, Activision or Ravensoft haven’t yet officially confirmed about the potential anti-cheat system.

On Aug 11, Ravensoft announced they had banned over 50,000 Warzone accounts in their latest player purge. On knowing about the incident, critics argued that hackers would simply create another account and continue to cheat in Warzone.
The developers said that they were listening to the requests of the community and were working hard behind the scenes. They said that they will provide more information to the community soon.

BOCW and Warzone’s player base and streamers have been requesting for a long time to counter the hackers. However, the developing team has only provided short-term solutions like bans but no long-term solutions.
Due to hackers consistently ruining games, popular streamers like Dr Disrespect, NICKMERCS, TimTheTatman, TeePee have opted for other battle royales like Apex Legends.
