Free Fire World Series 2021 finals have been postponed due to the still-raging coronavirus pandemic.
Garena is slated to hold its Free Fire World Series 2021 Singapore finals at 6:30 PM IST on May 30. The Singaporean online game developer has shifted the date citing the ongoing pandemic, prioritizing the health and safety of those involved.
The finals have been pushed, however, the Play-Ins will take place on May 22. Free Fire’s largest-ever series to date is expected to host 18 global teams from 11 regions, going toe-to-toe to win a lion’s share of the $20,00,000 prize pool.
The Play-Ins, which are slated to end on May 22, will see nine teams locking horns for the three spots in the finals. These three teams will then go up against the tournament’s 9 seed teams in the finals, BGR reported.

The Play-Ins, as well as the Finals, will be live-streamed on the Free Fire‘s official YouTube channel. In-person attendance isn’t allowed citing the coronavirus pandemic.
The Play-ins will come to an end on May 22 starting at 6:30 PM IST. The finals will take place on May 30 at 6:30 PM IST. Watch this space for more updates.
