100 Thieves Reach 1M Twitter Followers All While Losing Twitter Verification

100 Thieves, a lifestyle brand and gaming organization reached one million followers on its Twitter account even though ‘Senior Intern’ JhbTeam did its best to disrupt efforts.

The org is one of the fastest-growing gaming brands today reaching new milestones. One such milestone came on Aug 5, when their Twitter account hit one million followers. The organization has unfortunately achieved this goal during one of the tough times in its brand’s history.

The Social Media Manager of the gaming organization went on a vacation and handed over his responsibility to Content creator turned ‘Senior Intern’ JhbTeam. He said that he had a ton of faith in the 19-year-old to succeed.

However, things didn’t go well. JHB posted his typical cringe memes and even a dig at Nadeshot’s infamous HBR moment, per Dexerto.

Later, JhbTeam had changed the account tag from ‘100Thieves’ to ‘100TJHBs.’ After changing the account tag, JHB tweeted “oh, no…” and took a screenshot of it.

The alteration of the account tag took away the Twitter verification of the account. The members of the organization came to know about this and the incident became viral. Although, this isn’t the first time 100 Thieves has meddled with Twitter verifications.

Nadeshot tagged Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, asking for help. This viral incident led to a surge in followers for the primary 100 Thieves Twitter account.

The premier lifestyle brand has good chances of getting back their Twitter verification as Twitter owner Jack Dorsey is also the CEO of Cash App, a major sponsor of 100 Thieves.
