Much to the delight of those restlessly waiting for the upcoming pro wrestling video game, a WWE 2K22 gameplay trailer has surfaced online.
WWE Games and 2K released a new WWE 2K22 gameplay trailer ahead of Wrestlemania, giving us a glimpse of several unseen things. These include new entrances, new weapons to use, and new areas backstage.
WWE 2K22 Gameplay Trailer
Not too long into the video, we get to see a backstage brawl between Bobby Lashley and former Champions Drew McIntyre taking place in what looks like an expanded backstage area.
Moreover, we can see an elevator. Regrettably, it is still unclear if players will be able to use this elevator to go to different areas of the Arena, or it’s just visual.
Bobby Lashley is using a new weapon in the gameplay trailer. Further in the video, you can see a match between Rhea Ripley and Alexa Bliss. We see Ripley throwing Bliss onto an already set up table.
However, it is unclear whether this is a new hype moment that players can use in hardcore style matches or a special finish to a table match.
What Else To Expect
Aside from gameplay, the WWE 2K22 trailer gives us a glimpse of several superstars with their new entrances.
Moreover, we can catch glimpse of new facial hair for Brock Lesnar, the singular glove for Seth Rollins, Shinsuke Nakamura’s head, and the sword that activates Drew Mcintyre’s pyro, per Gamepur.
Also, we can see a match from the showcase mode. It features Rey Mysterio versus Eddie Guerrero from WrestleMania 21 for a split second.
The 2022 showcase mode will be celebrating the Master of the 619. Moreover, it could enable players to acquire classic arenas and superstars.
WWE 2K22 is slated to release for the Xbox series of consoles, PC, and PlayStation lineup of consoles on March 11. Watch this space for the latest gaming news.
