Much to the delight of those waiting with bated breath to install Windows 11, the release date of the hotly-anticipated Windows NT operating system has been revealed.
Nearly six years after the release of Windows 10, Microsoft finally announced the Windows 11 operating system. It features a cleaner, more Mac-like design and an impressive array of awe-inspiring features.
Windows 11 OS will be available as a free download for current Windows users during the holiday season, per a Microsoft blog post, which was posted after a virtual event on Thursday.

Microsoft will be rolling out the free update to eligible Windows 10 PCs around the holidays, probably in Nov. or Dec., and it will continue into 2022. The tech behemoth did not announce a date.
