It looks like the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will support a faster 25W charging unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Z Fold 3 smartphones turned out to be a massive success in the foldable phone segment in 2021. The series grabbed a lot of public attention.
The lineup created a lot of buzz among those who aren’t really phone enthusiasts. Aside from this, the foldable lineup broke sales and pre-order records of all time globally for foldable.
Despite riding high on the success of the Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3, Samsung received glaring complaints from many users regarding the devices’ durability.
Notably, the Z Flip 3 featured a 3300mAh battery with 15W charging support to draw its juices. This was relatively slower than the more common 25W fast charging available on the company’s mid-rangers including the Galaxy A52.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Could Arrive With A Larger Battery
Now, a new electronics certification in China suggests that Samsung is finally paying heed to customer feedback. As per the certification, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will bring support for faster 25W charging.
This piece of information was found on the China 3C Consumer Safety Certification database. Further, the 3C listing hints at an imminent launch of the two foldable phones in China.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 foldable phones carry model numbers SM-F9360 and SM-F7210, respectively.
Furthermore, the listing reveals that the two models go under the manufacturing phase in Vietnam. They will support 5G connectivity, and 25W fast charging as well.
Much to the delight and relief of those who refrained from purchasing the Z Flip 3, the new foldable devices from Samsung will finally offer a faster 25W fast charging support.
Regrettably, the Chinese 3C certification listing does not divulge any other key details about the upcoming foldable phones. Nevertheless, since they have been officially certified, more details are likely to surface online in the coming days.
