The Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones’ dummy units have surfaced online ahead of their impending launch next year.
The upcoming Galaxy S23 series has been subject to a lot of leaks and speculations lately. As a result, we already have a picture of what to expect.
To those unaware, the Galaxy S23 lineup comprises the standard Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Both the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra made appearances online in the form of leaked renders not long ago.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Dummy Units
Now, the Galaxy S23 series’ dummy units have been spotted online by Slash Leaks. The leaked images corroborate earlier reports that indicated Samsung is planning to ditch contour cut design for the Galaxy S23 and S23+.
Instead, the Korean smartphone giant is likely to adopt a more Galaxy S23 Ultra-like design for the Galaxy S23 and S23+ models. The word on the street is that these smartphones will resemble last year’s Galaxy A32.
In the leaked images, the rear camera lenses protrude individually. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy S23 Ultra appears to bear a resemblance to its well-received predecessor, Galaxy S22 Ultra.

However, the dummy units seem to adopt a design that doesn’t look anything like the design we saw in previously leaked renders. The dummy units suggest the SIM slot will be placed on the side edge rather than the bottom.
It is hard to determine which of these leaks is accurate. However, Samsung will put these speculations to rest during its Galaxy Unpack 2023 event, which will probably take place in February.
The Galaxy S23 series is likely to go on sale starting February 17. However, Samsung has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors yet.
