Samsung took the wraps off the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G smartphone at the CES 2022. Now, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer has confirmed to Gadgets 360 that the phone is headed to India soon.
After unveiling its upcoming Fan Edition phone at the trade show, Samsung has been teasing key details about the Galaxy S21 FE. It will hit the store shelves in multiple markets around the world. However, it was unclear when the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G will launch in India until now.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Launch Date In India
Samsung confirmed to Gadgets 360 that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone’s launch in the country is set for Monday, January 10. Regrettably, the company kept hardware details about the Indian variant under wraps.
Expected Price & Other Key Details
The Galaxy S20 FE successor is available in two variants, including one that ships with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, and the other that packs Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2100 chip under the hood.
The company will be launching the Qualcomm version of the smartphone in markets like China, Europe, and the US. Samsung had previously indicated that the Asian regions will receive the Exynos version.
In other words, the Galaxy S21 FE could launch in India with Exynos 2100 SoC rather than the Snapdragon 888 chip. Furthermore, the phone is likely to retail for around INR 52,000 in the country. With introductory offers, the phone could sell for a lowered price of about INR 48,000 – INR 49,000.
Moreover, the phone is currently up for pre-registration in India for INR 999. Consumers who pre-register will be eligible for receiving a Galaxy SmartTag for free. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will start shipping from Tuesday, January 11.
