Ronda Rousey and her partner Travis Browne used a Pokemon-themed meme to reveal the gender of their baby in a recently shared YouTube video.
The UFC stars began dating back in 2015 and tied the knot in 2017. Now, the couple is gearing up to welcome their first child. Considering that Ronda is a major fan of Pokemon, it was hardly surprising to see her, and she and Travis use Pokemon to reveal their baby’s gender.
On June 29, Ronda posted a video to her YouTube channel with the title, “Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne Reveal the Gender of Their Baby!” In the video, the former UFC champion that she and her partner didn’t want to do anything spectacular that could lead to a massive fire, similar to the one we saw in California last year.

The duo opted for a simple, safe, yet fun way to reveal their baby’s gender. As both Ronda and Travis walked forward, she seemed to feel the baby kicking and the screen transitioned to an egg. They used a Pokemon egg to announce their baby’s gender, along with the iconic Pokemon music.
“It’s a girl” the text read with an image of the ultrasound, that has a striking resemblance to the Pokemon Red and Blue. In a 2014 interview, the most dangerous woman in the UFC revealed how she got into the Pokemon cards first and then the video games.
“I got it on Game Boy Color. And my first one was Pokémon Blue and my first Pokémon was a Charmander and I was immediately hooked on it. I lost a bunch of weight that summer, and I was a small kid because I would not stop playing,” she said.

“I’ve gotten every single version of every single generation of the game,” the former WWE and UFC star added. “So like when Blue came out, I didn’t just get Blue and wait for Silver, no. I got Blue, I Beat blue, I got Red, I beat Red, I got Yellow, I beat Yellow.”
