These pieces of vital information come from display analyst Ross Young. The noted tipster shared the first set of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 specifications via a tweet.

According to Young, the Flip 5 will feature an invisible crease for the foldable screen. Also, the upcoming foldable phone will adopt a new hinge design.

Thanks to this new-fangled hinge design, the seam will be barely visible. The outer display will be 3 inches larger in size. So, it could be anywhere between 3.3-3.4 inches.

To recap, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 sports a 1.9-inch cover display. Samsung might leave its Chinese rivals behind by launching a clamshell foldable phone with a bigger cover display.

The Moto Razr 2022 comes with a 2.7-inch OLED cover display. Likewise, the OPPO Find N2 Flip will reportedly have a 3.26-inch cover display. The Galaxy Z Flip 5’s foldable display size could be 6.7 inches.

This is reportedly an AMOLED panel. The Korean tech giant might unveil the phone with a Plus version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will probably pack a bigger battery than the 3700mAh cell that powers the Flip 4.
