Valkyrae has shed light on the time she has left in her YouTube Gaming contract, aside from divulging key details in the agreement.
Rachell ‘Valkyrae‘ Hofstetter officially confirmed that she was leaving Twitch in January 2020. The announcement came after the popular streamer signed a multi-year deal to stream exclusively on YouTube Gaming.
Taking to her Twitter account, the 100 Thieves co-owner revealed how much time she has left in her YouTube Gaming contract. Much to the chagrin of her fans, it is sooner than they’d think.
Valkyrae Reveals When Her YouTube Gaming Contract WIll End
On December 4, 2021, Valkyrae shared a tweet about how many hours she has before her contract expires. Moreover, the tweet even revealed when her contract is slated to end.

“MY 2-YEAR YOUTUBE CONTRACT ENDS ON JANUARY 15TH AND I STILL OWE 198 HOURS BEFORE IT’S OVER WHAT DO I STREAM WHO WANTS TO PLAY WHAT TO GRIND ANYTHING IM DESPERATE LOL WOOOOOO,” she shared.
In other words, Valkyrae has about six weeks left on her YouTube Gaming contract before it ends. However, she still needs to stream for hundreds of hours in a bid to fulfill her contract obligations to YouTube gaming.
Fellow Streamers Suggest How Rae Could Fill the 198 Hours
Soon after she shared her predicament, her comments section was teeming with all sorts of suggestions from her friends and fellow streamers. For instance, QT Cinderella gave her a cooking stream idea.
Easy mam. Let’s make the 100 hour chocolate cake together and you will be half way done.

According to a report from Dexerto, Rae would need to broadcast about five hours every day until January 15. It is no secret that streamers have to go live for a set amount of hours. However, Rae’s fans were surprised to learn that she had to fulfill a quota of time streamed.
Furthermore, some fans felt that her tweet about the exact end date for her YouTube Gaming contract was a sign that she was planning to leave the Google-owned platform. However, that’s highly unlikely, considering that she was praising the site a week ago.
“I am very happy at YouTube,” Rae noted at the time. Do you think Valkyrae has hinted at her YouTube Gaming exit? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
