Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter admitted that she is playing GTA RP again, noting that its become an addiction.

Valkyrae has got back to roleplaying with GTA RP. However, the YouTuber claims it has become a problem since she doesn’t plan to stop playing anytime soon.

The streaming popularity of GTA RP is highly inconsistent. Although GTA V released in September 2013, it rose to popularity on Twitch in 2021, becoming the most popular game on the platform.

This popularity is due to popular personalities’ involvment in the booming roleplaying servers like NoPixel. However, Valkyrae hasn’t been consistently involved in these roleplaying servers.

Now, the 30-year-old YouTuber is playing GTA RP again. In fact, she has spent a considerable amount of time playing GTA RP over the last couple of weeks after re-signing with YouTube Gaming, as per a report by Dexerto.

However, it’s becoming a “problem,” not a big one though. Apparently, Valkyrae still manages to see the funny side.

Valkyrae Returns To GTA RP

In her latest tweet, Valkyrae noted that “Streaming GTA, watching GTA streams, dreaming about GTA, listening to GTA music on the way to meet GTA friends, then streaming GTA after. I admit I have a problem.”

Moreover, she now has a different attitude towards GTA RP that has led to the addiction. “I feel like I’m watching a reality TV show and it’s so funny to me,” she explained.

It’s insane, and honestly, I think the difference between now and last time when I played GTA is I’ve made so many friends now and I’m more comfortable,” she said during a stream.

““Last time I was relying on Chang Gang to be online to feel okay because I was relying on Sykkuno to hang out with me in-game.”

“He became a part of a whole another gang, doing his own thing, and I realized ‘I don’t have anyone to play with’ and I was too scared to talk to people.”

“This time I’m just pushing myself and I’m so glad I am.”

Aside from playing Valorant, she is currently watching some videos on stream. Moreover, she is exploring the NoPixel world as her character Ray Mond, hanging out with some of the biggest streamers.

Valkyrae Sees The Funny Side

“GTA V RP has been pure comedy, so happy to be part of it! Streams have been insane,” she wrote on social media.

Likewise, Sykkuno and Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel have also been making appearances on GTA RP lately. However, this is understandable. To recall, GTA RP is the second most popular game on Twitch in 2021, right behind League of Legends.

Since Jan. 1, 2022, it has over a whopping 150 million hours watched. It is unclear when will Valkyrae stop playing GTA RP, but it’s unlikely to happen anytime soon considering that more and more streamers are returning to the roleplaying community.
