Jay ‘Sinatraa’ Won will not be competing in Valorant due to a suspension from Riot Games, citing lack of cooperation in the tournament organizer’s investigation of sexual assault allegations.
Much to their chagrin of fans who were looking forward to Sinatraa’s return amid sexual abuse allegations, it looks like the 21-year-old professional Valorant player for Sentinels won’t be making a comeback anytime soon.
Riot’s investigation team has not concluded its findings into the matter but determined that Sinatraa had “misrepresented certain facts, made false statements,” on at least two occasions.
According to the investigation team, he “did not cooperate with the investigation in a way expected of a professional VALORANT esports player.”

During the investigation, the video game developer “had serious concerns with Sinatraa’s conduct,” particularly that the player did not provide full audio and video clip regarding the allegations.
This is a direct violation of Rule 8.1in the VALORANT Global Competition Policy, which led to the six-month ban. The suspension, which will be retroactive to Mar. 10, 2021, is slated to end on Sept. 10, according to Riot’s ruling.
Moreover, Sinatraa needs to complete professional conduct training before he makes a comeback to play competitive Valorant. He will not be eligible to play through the end of Stage 3 Challenger season, and the final Masters’ event.
As more details about Riot Games investigation into Sinatraa surface, former OWL pro Daniel ‘dafran’ Francesca continues to defend him following his suspension. Dafran even slammed fans who called out Sinatraa.
It seems I was right and @Sinatraa was not found guilty of Sexual assault. He will be able to return to pro play soon. Another win for me boys
