Following in the footsteps of its well-received predecessor, the Mate 20 Pro became an instant hit among Huawei fans after hitting the store shelves in October last year. The phone’s awe-inspiring features and top-end specifications catapult it to skyrocketing success despite carrying a steep price tag.
On the downside, the phone didn’t quite appeal to cost-conscious buyers who aren’t willing to spend a lot of money on a smartphone.Much to the relief of those living on a tight budget, the Chinese handset maker is offering the Huawei Mate 20 Pro at a reduced price of just $849.99. It is worth noting that the Mate 20 Pro would normally set you back $883.98 on online as well as offline stores.
In other words, you can save $33.99 on the feature-laden smartphone, but only for a limited period of time. An absolute steal at this price, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro sports a mammoth 6.39 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 ratio.
The single-SIM phone is housed in a sturdy aluminum frame and it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for added protection.
The Mate 20 Pro packs a powerful HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor along with Mali-G76 MP10 graphics processing unit, under the hood. This is the international, unlocked version of the Mate 20 Pro and it ships with 6GB of RAM and offers 128GB of onboard storage capacity.
On the photography front, the phone houses a triple camera set up comprising a 40.0MO, 20.0MP, and 8.0MP sensors. Up front, there’s a 24.0MP selfie shooter with Leica optics, dual-LED dual-tone flash, panorama, and HDR. The Mate 20 Pro runs EMUI 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The mobile phone draws its juices from a non-removable Li-Po 4200mAh battery that supports Fast battery charging 40W, fast wireless charging and power bank/Reverse wireless charging.
In addition to an under display fingerprint, the Mate 20 Pro features a slew of other useful sensors like accelerometer, gyro, proximity, barometer, and compass.
